Glen Luckman Careers For This Difficult Economic Climate By Patrick R Young

We have all heard how the economy is in terrible shape. You may be wondering how you can survive in this difficult economic climate. Fortunately, there are options for you right now if you are looking for a new job or even a new career. Let’s identify some of the fastest growing careers and fields you should be pursuing right now.

1. Careers in the Medical Field.
The medical field is going to be growing for the foreseeable future. Things are not going to change anytime soon. No matter what happens with government legislation, there is going to be a strong demand for nurses for many years. As the baby boomers age, they expect the field to continue to expand for at least the next 20 to 30 years. Basically, you can get into this career field and have a job once you complete the necessary training required.

2. Dental Careers.
Closely related to the medical field, there is still a very strong need for dental assistants right now. Employers can’t seem to hire these assistants fast enough. No matter where you live, there is always a need for new dental assistants, dentists, and other specialty positions.

3. Communication Based Careers.
These fields are growing much faster than most industries. As the wireless industry continues to increase, and as fiber optics technology expands, there is still great demand for technicians in these industries. The transition from land lines to cellular telephones continues, and people still want a faster internet connection. You can expect these careers to continue to grow for at least the next 10 to 15 years.

These are some of the fastest growing careers right now. All of these fields will continue to grow for quite a while. You will need to go back to school to get into these careers. Be sure to look for scholarships everywhere you can to help you pay for your financial needs for college.
